Guarantee of authenticity - Vetro Artistico®
All licensed Murano glass producers affix an anti-counterfeiting sticker to each product they produce. The sticker carries a serial number and data matrix code (QR code) that uniquely identifies the product thus representing its “identity card”.
The serial number can then be submitted online to the governing body to verify that your piece is true Murano glass.
All products sold by us at Glass of Murano/glassofmurano.co.uk are made in Murano and carry this guarantee of authenticity.
Regulation:
The Vetro Artistico ® Murano brand is a collective trademark established in by the Veneto Region with the law n. 70
dated 23/12/94 and managed by the Promovetro Murano Consortium, which guarantees that the products with this trademark are made on the island of Murano in accordance with traditional Murano processing techniques.
